D.B. Doran Copper & Iron Works was established in the late 1800’s primarily undertaking copper work for the sugar industry. During the late 1940’s company officials added iron and steel fabrication to their line and became very active in providing steel fabrication for the petro-chemical industry in the Donaldsonville area. In 1984 William S. Nadler, Jr., Inc., acquired the Doran shop, but continues to do business as D.B Doran Copper & Iron Works.
In 1995, the location of our company was moved from Donaldsonville, La. to Belle Rose, La. This move has enabled us to better meet our customer’s needs with more than 19,000 square feet of indoor fabrication space located on 7.5 acres of land. In 2004, William S. Nadler, Jr., Inc., acquired Precision Metal Services, a full service machine shop located in Gonzales. LA. WSN Field Services was established in 2007 in order to accommodate the sugar and chemical industry in the field.
William S. Nadler, Jr., Inc. currently is comprised of three divisions, D. B Doran Copper & Iron Works, Precision Metal Services, and WSN Field Services.
D.B. Doran Copper & Iron Works provides custom fabrication for both the petro-chemical and sugar industries. We specialize in all grades of carbon and stainless steel. Our capacity includes fabrication of ASME code vessels, API tanks, stacks, ductwork, structural steel and light gauge pipe.
Precision Metal Services also known as PMS is located in Gonzales, LA. It is a fully equipped machine shop which services the sugar, petrochemical industries as well as our other divisions. PMS focuses on pumps, tube sheets, and various size shafts.
WSN Field Services was established in 2007. It provides our customers a full- service onsite skilled labor force to keep their operations running smoothly and efficiently. In addition we offer “turnkey” turnaround services to complete projects start to finish. WSN is committed to quality in manufacturing, Installation, maintenance and demolition per our customer’s specifications. We continue to maintain a reputation for quality workmanship and superior service on a 24-hour a day basis.
